Hello, and welcome to Wheelsets 101. My name is Scott Merloni and I’m the chief cook and bottle washer here. I just would like to take a moment and let you know who I am and why you might find Wheelsets 101 useful.
So, as I said my name is Scott Merloni and I’ve been a cyclist for over 10 years now, primarily enjoying the sport of mountain biking. I love the challenge and adventure mountain biking brings. I also love the quiet solitude of a solo ride as well as the noisy whooping it up, and grunting and groaning of my frequent group and club rides.
As a cyclist with years of experience I’ve bought bikes, built up bikes, repaired and maintained my share. So I understand the importance of having quality wheels, whether you’re a mountain biker or roadie.
Our mission here at Wheelsets 101 is to inform and hopefully entertain you as well in your pursuit of superior wheels regardless of your budget.
